Salary:  £12.39 per hour, plus benefits (Inclusive of management responsibilities)

The Role:

As a Team Leader/Senior Support Worker you will become a key part of a team to deliver care and support to residents living in our extracare scheme/s. This is an immensely rewarding role, enabling people to live independently and ensuring they get full enjoyment and fulfilment out of living in their Shireliving or supported housing apartment.

Reporting to and when necessary deputising for the care manager, you will be responsible for delivering, supervising and facilitating the delivery of packages of care and support to a number of our customers living in our Shireliving and

Successful candidates will be required to undertake an Enhanced DBS Check

What you will need:

You must hold Level 3 NVQ (or equivalent) in Care and have demonstrative experience working in a supervisory/ senior role, delivering high quality care within a similar environment.

Given the environment you will be working in, you must be able to demonstrate effective communication, strong team working, organisational, interpersonal skills and maintaining high levels of confidentiality at all times. Taking responsibility for your own personal development, sharing knowledge and skills and learning from others within your team.

You will be expected to promote a positive, friendly and understanding attitude towards our customers and other colleagues in order to achieve consistency with the high levels of performance, efficiency and quality that is expected of our Employees.
