Night Support Worker - Limewood

Location: Limewood, Residential Care Home, Stafford ST16

Hours of Work: Full time and Part-time positions available, covering a 7 day shift rota

Rate of pay: £10.42 per hour, plus benefits

Limewood:

Our dedicated Dementia Support Centre. Limewood is a purpose built centre specifically for people living with Dementia.

Limewood is a forward thinking and fresh approach to dementia care for every stage and every age.

Based in Stafford, the purpose built centre delivers a seamless service, from early diagnosis to end of life care.  Relatives and residents benefit from the quality of care and expertise offered whilst experiencing familiar, safe and comfortable surroundings.

With 59 en-suite bedrooms, offering nursing care for people with dementia – each cluster of 8 bedrooms has its own open-plan living area, kitchen, dining area, quite room and assisted bathroom.  The clusters are arranged around an internal courtyard garden, with bright and airy spaces throughout.

Limewood also features a realistic, ‘High Street’, featuring a pub, hairdresser, cinema and snug, to make our residents as comfortable and content as possible.


Our friendly team of staff are on hand day or night and deliver a tailored range of quality care and support services offering peace and mind and security. We expect all staff to deliver an exceptional standard of.

The Role:

As a Night Support Worker, you will become a key part of a team to deliver care and support to residents living in Limewood. This is an immensely rewarding role, you will have daily opportunities to make a difference to people’s lives.

You’ll provide a variety of care and support service that including cleaning, personal care, medication management and other support as outlined in each individual care and support plans. As well as helping people to live as independently as possible in a safe, caring and inclusive community.

Successful candidates will be required to undertake an Enhanced DBS Check

What you will need:

As a Night Support Worker, it is not essential for you to hold a formal qualification although an NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social care is desirable. However you must be willing to work towards obtaining a relevant qualification and passionate about delivering a quality service to our tenants.

Given the environment you will be working in, you must be able to demonstrate effective communication, strong team working, organisational, interpersonal skills and maintaining high levels of confidentiality at all times. Taking responsibility for your own personal development, sharing knowledge and skills and learning from others within your team.

You will be expected to promote a positive, friendly and understanding attitude towards our customers and other colleagues in order to achieve consistency with the high levels of performance, efficiency and quality that is expected of our Employees.
