Support Worker - West Street


Location: West Street, Biddulph

Hours of Work: Various hours available covering a 7-day rota

Salary: £11.21 per hour, plus benefits

The Role:

We have an opportunity for a  Support Worker to join our caring team at West Street, which is one of our learning disability care homes.

The successful candidate will be required to strive to deliver the best possible levels of care to the people that they support, building excellent relationships with the Service Users and key workers. Delivering care and support in accordance with service users care plans, help service users to achieve personal goals and live as independently as possible whilst maintaining dignity and respect.

This role will include the requirement to carry out observations of the building at night. You will also be responsible for answering any emergency calls throughout your shift.

You will be expected to promote a positive, friendly and understanding attitude towards our customers and other colleagues in order to achieve consistency with the high levels of performance, efficiency and quality that is expected of our Employees.

Due to the service provision and care arrangements currently in place at West Street, we are only able to consider female applicants for this vacancy.

Successful candidates will be required to undertake an Enhanced DBS Check
