Transport and Warehouse Operative
Salary: £19,019.07 per annum
Hours: Full Time Permanent – 37.5 hours per week, rota basis covering Monday to Friday.
Location: Ludlow
Our Organisation :
We are at the forefront of making a difference to people’s lives. As a socially minded business, we provide 13,000 homes for affordable and social rent and care services across Telford & Wrekin, Shropshire, and Staffordshire. We have ambitious plans to grow up to 16,000 homes by 2025.
Within the Wrekin Housing Group we have our own Furniture Reuse Project – Wrekin Reviive.
Wrekin Reviive was set up in 2011 to extract as much social and environmental value from reuse as possible. By collecting donated household goods and making them available at affordable prices, Wrekin Reviive has been able to help thousands of people access low cost items no matter what their circumstances are. In order to ensure we are able to provide all the essential items needed to equip a home, we also stock a small selection of responsibly sourced new items. We work with individuals and families who may be isolated, vulnerable, marginalised, living in challenging circumstances or just in need of a little support to overcome barriers to success.
Wrekin Reviive’s work also helps to protect the environment by diverting waste from landfill and reusing as much as we can. If we can’t reuse an item, whenever possible, we will recycle it. To support our work and enhance our impact we deliver services for commercial partners and local authorities.
We want individuals who are passionate about making a difference to people’s lives, are motivated to help Wrekin Reviive in its activities and ready to become an integral member of our team.
