Salary - £28,618.13 per annum

Full Time/ Permanent36 hours per week, rota’d to cover Monday to Sunday.

Location – Within all properties maintained and managed by the Wrekin Housing Group, including but not limited to, Shropshire, Staffordshire and the Midlands.

The role:

We are looking for suitably qualified individuals who can demonstrate an ability to carry out a range of high quality maintenance and repairs across their area of expertise and a range of minor repairs and associated works outside of this.

Key responsibilities will include assessing the work to be undertaken, ensuring it meets the agreed specification and where appropriate organise relevant materials for the work. You will also liaise with tenants and other customers whilst taking responsibility for completing the appropriate paperwork associated with the work being undertaken.

What you will need:

With a relevant City and Guilds qualification, you‘ll have experience of maintaining domestic properties and working unsupervised as part of a team. Successful applicants will need to have a flexible approach to work and a can-do attitude, to delivering the highest levels of customer service.

A full UK Driving license is essential.

Given the environment you will be working in, you must be able to demonstrate effective communication, strong team working, organisational, interpersonal skills and maintaining high levels of confidentiality at all times. You will be expected to promote a positive, friendly and understanding attitude towards our customers and other colleagues in order to achieve consistency with the high levels of performance, efficiency and quality that is expected of our Employees.
