Catering Assistant - The Coppice


Salary: £11.44 per hour, plus benefits

Location: The Coppice, Shrewsbury

Hours: 10 hours per week available. 

Shift Pattern: Week 1 Saturday and Sunday 09:30am to 14:30pm 

                      Week 2 Thursday and Friday 09:30am to 14:30pm

Contract Type: Permanent

The Role:

We are looking to recruit enthusiastic individuals who can contribute towards providing a catering service to residents, visitors and staff which delivers on high standards of food safety and food delivery, but also delight customers using the catering service providing high standards of customer service.

A Health and Safety Qualification along with basic food hygiene is desirable to work in this role or showing the willingness to work towards.

What you will need:

The successful applicants will play a leading role in in being the ‘face’ of the ShireLiving. You will require excellent organisational and presentation skills and a passion for producing quality food. Successful candidates will be expected to engage with our tenants and visitors as well as colleagues and suppliers so excellent communication skills are also a must. The roles require people to be able to adapt to the needs of our customers.

You will be working in a demanding and fast-paced environment, so you must be a conscientious and hard-working individual who is willing to go the extra mile to deliver exceptional service.

Given the environment you will be working in, you must be able to demonstrate effective communication.
