Rate: £18.63 per hour

Our dedicated Dementia Support Centre. Limewood is a purpose built centre specifically for people living with Dementia.
Limewood is a forward thinking and fresh approach to dementia care for every stage and every age.
Based in Stafford, the purpose built centre delivers a seamless service, from early diagnosis to end of life care. Relatives and residents benefit from the quality of care and expertise offered whilst experiencing familiar, safe and comfortable surroundings.
With 59 en-suite bedrooms, offering nursing care for people with dementia – each cluster of 8 bedrooms has its own open-plan living area, kitchen, dining area, quite room and assisted bathroom. The clusters are arranged around an internal courtyard garden, with bright and airy spaces throughout.
Limewood also features a realistic, ‘High Street’, featuring a pub, hairdresser, cinema and snug, to make our residents as comfortable and content as possible.
Our friendly team of staff are on hand day or night and deliver a tailored range of quality care and support services offering peace and mind and security. We expect all staff to deliver an exceptional standard of.
As a Bank Qualified Nurse, you will become a key part of a team to deliver care and support to residents living in Limewood. This is an immensely rewarding role, you will have daily opportunities to make a difference to people’s lives.
You will be required to, deliver clinically excellent and high quality care, ensure that professional and legislative standards are maintained, act as the named Nurse for a group of Service Users maintaining accountability in assessment planning, be involved in implementation and the evaluation of care plans, promote a person centred approach to care when collaborating with other health professionals, work to include and meet current research and best practice in planned care, maintain accurate records of care and treatment, maintain an up-to-date knowledge of services that may be beneficial for Service Users, as and when needed take charge of a shift and provide co-ordinator cover for the service whilst also supervising the work of staff of shift to ensure high standards of care, comply with the NMC Code of Conduct and Professional Regulations whilst also maintaining professional registration
What you will need:

Taking responsibility for your own personal development, sharing knowledge and skills and learning from others within your team.
You will be expected to promote a positive, friendly and understanding attitude towards our customers and other colleagues in order to achieve consistency with the high levels of performance, efficiency and quality that is expected of our Employees.
You must also be able to work on your own and as part of a team, have good interpersonal and communication skills and work flexibly on a rota basis to meet the needs of the service.
