This role will require the successful applicant to engage with tenants and their friends/ families and third party agencies to encourage participation, to lead and coordinate social activities, events and trips both on and off site.
Day to day responsibilities include:- Orgainsing and facilitating social events and activities on and off site. Arrange regular activity meetings with tenants. Work in partnership with the Corporate Events Coordinator, Strive to have daily activities and events on scheme that promote health and wellbeing, Work in conjunction with the catering service to link activities with food and beverages, Capture tenant feedback to improve service delivery, Ensuring efficiently, recording and monitoring events on the internal database, creating and facilitating competitions for tenants to take part in, whilst always working effectively with other members of the ShireLiving Team.

What you will need:
Our Activities and Events coordinators are required to work with our ShireLiving tenants and colleagues with commitment, integrity and respect. The successful candidate will need to be approachable and have the ability to adapt their communication styles dependent on the needs of the customer.
You must hold a minimum of GCSE’s grade A-C (or equivalent) in English and Maths. The ideal candidate will be willing to work flexibly, outside normal hours including evenings and weekends where necessary. Holding a current Driving License is desirable.
Given the environment you will be working in, you must be able to demonstrate effective communication, strong team working, organisational, interpersonal skills and maintaining high levels of confidentiality at all times.
