Location: Limewood Residential Home Stafford 

Hours of Work: 37.5 hours available covering a 7 day rota

Salary: £8.91 per hour, plus benefits

Our dedicated Dementia Support Centre. Limewood is a purpose built centre specifically for people living with Dementia.

Limewood is a forward thinking and fresh approach to dementia care for every stage and every age.

Based in Stafford, the purpose built centre delivers a seamless service, from early diagnosis to end of life care.  Relatives and residents benefit from the quality of care and expertise offered whilst experiencing familiar, safe and comfortable surroundings.

With 59 en-suite bedrooms, offering nursing care for people with dementia – each cluster of 8 bedrooms has its own open-plan living area, kitchen, dining area, quite room and assisted bathroom.  The clusters are arranged around an internal courtyard garden, with bright and airy spaces throughout.

Limewood also features a realistic, ‘High Street’, featuring a pub, hairdresser, cinema and snug, to make our residents as comfortable and content as possible.

The Role:

As an Administrative Assistant you will contribute as part of a team to the effective operation of the home through the delivery of high standards of customer care to all visitors and residents To provide administrative support under the guidance and supervision of the senior administrator and homes management team and to undertake other activities to assist in the running of the home as required.

The Main Responsibilities include: Working on reception taking telphone calls and booking appointments, general administration including typing, filing and photocopying, to liaise with residents family and members of the public as required any many more tasks as allocated by managers.


What you will need:

You must be able to demonstrate the ability to use Microsoft Office and have a general understanding of other IT Systems. Have Effective communication skills including the ability to relate appropriately to residents, staff, relatives other professionals and members of the public combined with the ability to work effectively as part of a team and be abale to work under pressure and priortise workloads is all a must for this role

You will be expected to promote a positive, friendly and understanding attitude towards our customers and other colleagues in order to achieve consistency with the high levels of performance, efficiency and quality that is expected of our Employees.
