Hours of Work: 37.5 hours per week – Covering a 7 day service

Salary: £24,440 per annum

The Role:

We are looking to recruit enthusiastic individuals who can manage and deliver the catering service in line with required budgets, regulations and procedures. You will also be required to manage a small team, plan menus, order supplies and to cook and serve traditional, homemade, quality and nutritious food including modified diets for our customers.

Our aim is to provide a range of services on-site that match the needs of residents. These services include catering facilities which offer the following:

  • Breakfast, lunch and supper service
  • Individual catering packages for residents
  • Event catering for social activities

What you will need:

You will require experience in managing a team and demonstrate a passion for producing quality food.  If you hold a current basic food hygiene certificate, can manage and work well as part of a team then this could be a fantastic opportunity for you. Ideally the successful candidate will also hold or be willing to work towards an NVQ Level 3 in catering (or equivalent.)

You will be working in a demanding and fast-paced environment, so you must be a conscientious, empathetic and hard-working individual who is willing to go the extra mile to deliver exceptional service.

Given the environment you will be working in, you must be able to demonstrate effective communication, strong team working, organisational, interpersonal skills and maintain high levels of confidentiality at all times.

You will be expected to promote a positive, friendly and understanding attitude towards our customers, suppliers and colleagues

Successful candidates will be required to undertake a relevant DBS check and provide documentation to evidence their Covid vaccination status.
