Senior Support Worker - Holdcroft

Hours of Work: Full time hours available covering a 7 day rota
Salary: £10.41 per hour, plus benefits

We have an opportunity for a Senior Support Worker to join our caring team at Holdcroft Road, which is one of our learning disability care homes.
You will be required to contribute as part of a team to the effective operation of the home through the delivery of high standards of care to residents which are compliant with statutory, regulatory and organisational standards. To provide care for the residents under the guidance and supervision of the homes management team and to undertake other activities to assist in the running of the home as required. Provide practical, emotional and physical support to residents in order to promote independence, choices and wellbeing within the home. Also to supervise a team of support workers within a residential home.
Successful candidates will be required to undertake an Enhanced DBS Check

What you will need:
You must hold Level 3 NVQ (or equivalent) in Care and have demonstrative experience working in a supervisory/ senior role, delivering high quality care within a similar environment.
Given the environment you will be working in, you must be able to demonstrate effective communication, strong team working, organisational, interpersonal skills and maintaining high levels of confidentiality at all times. Taking responsibility for your own personal development, sharing knowledge and skills and learning from others within your team.
You will be expected to promote a positive, friendly and understanding attitude towards our customers and other colleagues in order to achieve consistency with the high levels of performance, efficiency and quality that is expected of our Employees.
