Location: Limewood, Stafford – 37.5 hours per week (All working patterns will cover a 7 day rota)

Salary: £9.50 per hour, plus benefits

The Role: 

We have an opportunity for an Activity Co-Ordinator to join our caring team at our dedicated Dementia Support Centre.

Limewood is a purpose-built centre specifically for people living with Dementia. Limewood is a forward thinking and fresh approach to dementia care for every stage and every age. Limewood also features a realistic, ‘High Street’ featuring a pub, hairdresser, cinema and snug aimed to make our residents as comfortable and content as possible.

As an Activities Coordinator you'll be engaging with residents to support care plans and objectives by leading and co-ordinating social activities and events.

  • Escorting service users to community facilities and providing support to enable participation
  • Organising and facilitating a variety of activities at the scheme based on service users’ needs and wishes
  • Meeting emotional and psychological needs
  • Developing and maintaining a range of relationships
  • Ensuring nutritional needs are met during visits to the service

Successful candidates will be required to undertake an Enhanced DBS Check. Quick starts available for successful candidates with a transferrable DBS.
