Debt Advisor

Permanent/Full Time - 37 hours per week

Salary - £25,000 per annum

Location - Donnington and throughout Shropshire & Staffordshire as necessary

We support a range of customers by providing affordable housing, care and support services, training and work experience opportunities, financial advice, mediation, emergency accommodation, access to affordable furniture, tenancy training and help with setting up social value businesses and lots more.

The Role:

We are looking to recruit a highly motivated and experienced Debt Advisor to work alongside our well established Money Matters & Tenancy Sustainment Team. You will provide high quality debt advice to Wrekin Housing Group customers both in our main offices and outreach across the areas we work.

What you will need:

You will need to have demonstrable knowledge and experience of providing money advice casework including dealing with multiple debt, housing issues and income maximisation, and an awareness of financial exclusion and welfare reform issues that impact on our customers.

This role requires the successful candidate to undertake a DBS check.
