M&E Quality Surveyor

Location: Telford – HQ Offices

Hours of Work: 72 per hours fortnight

Salary Scale: SO1 - £30,474 per annum to £32,489 per annum

The Role:

The Property Team are responsible for the management and compliance of all buildings and properties across the Wrekin Housing Group.

We are looking to appoint an ambitious and motivated Quality Surveyor to take an active lead to support the team in relation to Electrical and Mechanical works across the Group. As Quality Surveyor – Electrical and Mechanical you will be responsible for the safety, technical standard and quality of electrical installation work across the Group.

Other key responsibility in this role will include assisting with the management of Electrical and Mechanical work streams within all housing stock including commercial units within the Portfolio including but not limited to HVAC, Door Entry and Warden Call systems, CCTV and other associated works.

What you will need:

The successful candidate will need to be suitably qualified to the current version BS7671 Wiring Regulations. 

The successful candidate must have managerial/supervisory experience with electrical Installations in both domestic and commercial buildings.

With relevant City and Guilds/NVQ qualifications. A good understanding of Heating, Plant, Air Conditioning and Ventilation in commercial premises, including large communal residential buildings with centralised plant rooms and distribution systems.

A full UK driving license is essential.
