Independent Member – Service Quality Committee
£3,000 + Travel Expenses (45p per mile)
This is a remunerated role, with an anticipated time commitment of approximately one day every two months
Based in Telford and working predominantly in Staffordshire and Shropshire. We are a socially minded and ambitious organisation looking to grow our delivery of the very best housing and care services to our customers.
We are looking for fresh new voices at our Service Quality Committee which will help us improve our organisation and the services we deliver to our communities
Are you that new voice?
Can you provide vision and insight and through your lived experience of our Housing or Care services add real value to our organisation?
In recruiting to our committees, we seek to ensure that we are reflective of the communities we serve, and are therefore best equipped to deal with the opportunities and challenges we face. Experience of working with a Board or committee is an advantage, but not a prerequisite, we can help you to develop your skills in this area.
What is important is an understanding of the customer experience and the knowledge and skills to be able to understand, monitor and scrutinise our performance from the customers perspective. We want you to help us ensure that the voice of the customer influences all aspects of our service delivery.

Key Involved Customers
If you are a customer of the Wrekin Housing Group and are interested in making a difference and becoming involved, but are not yet ready or wanting to commit to a formal role, we would still like to hear from you.
We are looking for customers to get involved with us, to tell us what you think of our services and to make sure that the customer voice is heard throughout the Wrekin Housing Group.
We offer a variety of options, so that you can be involved in ways that suit you and will fit with your time commitments, most of which can be done from the comfort of your own home. What we offer in return is help to develop and gain skills, knowledge and confidence, through our Customer Skills Academy.
