Tenancy Sustainment Officer


Hours:      Full Time Permanent/ Temporary for 18 Months

Salary:      £21,538 – £24,005 per annum plus an essential car user allowance

Location:  Homeworking / Telford

The Role:

We are looking for a highly motivated individual to help our customers prepare for and sustain their tenancies, providing effective, practical assistance and guidance on a wide range of issues.

The role is based in Telford, but may take you across all areas where The Wrekin Housing Group let their homes.

What you will need:

The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate a thorough understanding of welfare reform changes and Universal Credit, and the practical knowledge to assist and guide customers to ensure they can successfully manage their tenancy and priority bill commitments.

They will need to display a real commitment to customer service, be enthusiastic and empathetic, have a proven ability to build positive working relationships across our teams & the business. They will need excellent time management skills along with the desire and motivation to work for an organisation continually looking to improve its services and really make a difference to the lives of our customers. You will have a good standard of education and hold a full UK driving license and have the use of a vehicle for business.

Working as an integral part of a small busy team providing Tenancy Sustainment services, you will need to have excellent communication, organisational and team working skills, along with excellent interpersonal skills.
