Building Surveyor

Salary: £31,992 - £38,706 per annum (dependent on experience)

Location: Home Working / HQ

Hours: 36 hour Per Week – Permanent

The Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a committed individual who has a positive, enthusiastic attitude to work.

As a Building Surveyor, you will take ownership and responsibility for the management, delivery and performance of a category of work, ensuring that business objectives are met and Health and Safety risks are assessed and managed.

We are looking for an experienced, motivated and enthusiastic person to join our established In-house Planned Team, to take responsibility for all aspects of the planning and delivery of programmes and services, whilst regularly reviewing the category, refining and improving the processes around it and reporting the appropriate results. Your key responsibilities will include preparing contract documents, strategic procurement from the supply chain and delivering cost saving against agreed targets.

What you will need

It’s essential for all applicants to demonstrate that they have previous experience in housing, purchasing, project management or a construction environment.

The ideal candidate must also be willing to study or in possession of a construction related qualification such as HNC / HND and / or CIOB.
