Governance Executive

Full Time / Permanent

Salary - Dependent upon experience

Working Hours - Flexible 36 hours per week

About The Role 

This is a unique opportunity to support the Board and Executive Team by playing a key role in the governance function of a housing, care and support organisation. 

The successful candidate will oversee a busy Board / Committee schedule, by agenda planning, involvement in the production of board reports, attend Board and Committee meetings, taking accurate and detailed minutes whilst working with the Executive and Senior Leadership Team to ensure that actions are followed through to completion.

Skills and Experience Required 

It is essential for the successful candidate to have an excellent command of the English Language, accurate minute taking and typing skills and also an excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office packages, in particular Word, Outlook and PowerPoint. GCSE or equivalent Grades A-C are essential. 

You must be highly organised, have an eye for detail and have the professionalism to work with Board members and Executives. You will have the ability to listen to complex information, take minutes in detail and transcribe accurately. Proven experience in a similar role is essential (At least 3 years experience).

Knowledge of corporate governance in a regulated environment is desirable along with an administration qualification or membership.
