Welcome
Welcome to the annual report for customers 2019/20.
At Wrekin we make a difference to people’s lives by providing more than
13,000 homes for affordable rent and low cost home ownership. Delivering
innovative care for adults with learning difficulties, people with dementia
and older people with the aim of allowing everyone to lead as independent
a life as possible. Inspiring communities by driving social investment
through the creation of training schemes and volunteering opportunities
and work placements.
In 2019/20 we had another successful year with some outstanding
performance that was thanks to our hard working staff, volunteers,
partners and of course customers. The end of the 2019/20 year was
impacted by the Coronavirus pandemic, a challenge that we have
continued to rise to in 2020/21 in partnership with the community,
authorities and our customers.
