Dennis O'Higgins

Dennis O’Higgins is a Management Consultant and Senior Principal for Business Advisory Services at Slalom, where he leads consulting teams focused on Strategy and Transformation. Specifically he assists clients around enterprise agility, business design, and performance optimisation. He is a founding member of the Manchester office and the former Business Development Leader. Outside Slalom, Dennis is Chair of Community Accounting UK, a non-profit organisation focused on building financial capability and resilience in the charitable sector.

Prior to Slalom, Dennis worked with Public Sector clients (including Social Housing) at PwC, before which he held leadership roles in the NHS and in Industry, with Centrica and The Linde Group. His prior Non-Executive experience includes being a member of the Audit & Assurance Committee at Yorkshire Housing and Chair of the Healthcare Committee at pro-manchester. In total, he brings over 15 years professional experience to the role and is passionate about good governance and the important role of social housing in society.

Dennis holds a Masters Degree in Strategy & Performance Management and undergraduate qualifications in Management Studies, Housing and Accounting. Alongside which he holds a range of professional certifications including the ICAEW Diploma in Charity Accounting (DChA) and is a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt. He is a Chartered Certified Accountant, Chartered Housing Professional, Chartered Manager and Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management (CMI). Dennis is currently completing his doctorate in Strategic Management with a focus on business architecture and enterprise agility.
