Wrekin Reviive wants to make the most possible use out of furniture and household goods that people no longer need.

What we do

Wrekin Reviive (formerly Reviive) was set up in 2011 to achieve the most benefits possible for society and the environment by reusing things.

It specialises in the resale of donated household furniture and electrical goods through its recycling and upcycling centres in Oswestry and Shrewsbury, as well as online.

Wrekin Reviive has been able to help thousands of people access low cost items no matter what their circumstances are.

In June 2022 - Reviive became Wrekin Reviive, to reflect its important place in the #TeamWrekin family.

Who we help

It works with individuals and families who may be isolated, vulnerable, marginalised, living in challenging circumstances or just in need of a little support to overcome barriers to success.

Wrekin Reviive’s work also helps to protect the environment by diverting waste from landfill and reusing as much as we can. If we can’t reuse an item, whenever possible, we will recycle it. To support our work and enhance our impact we deliver services for commercial partners and local authorities.

  • Last year, 97% of the items donated to Wrekin Reviive were either reused or recycled – meaning 293 tonnes of items were diverted from landfill.
  • During the last year, Wrekin Reviive provided over 2000 volunteer hours and 5 apprenticeships and Kickstart placements.
  • Wrekin Reviive has also worked with local partners to provide 275 packages of essential household items to people who are struggling financially or dealing with a crisis.
