Work experience placements
Wrekin offers a wide variety of work experience placements, ranging from a week or two for school and college students, to on the job experience for trades and training professionals, to long term volunteering placements in our social value activities such as Reviive and the Furniture Scheme.
A work experience placement is a voluntary placement in a work environment and is a great opportunity to learn new skills, gain experience, build your CV and improve your employability prospects. Placements also help you with general employment skills, such as team work, communication, timekeeping and confidence.
If you are interested in a work experience with Wrekin please send us a brief personal statement and/or covering letter explaining the type of placement you are interested in and why to firstname.lastname@example.org. We will then contact you as soon as possible to see whether we can help.
Due to the Coronavirus restrictions we are limited in the number and range of work placements we can offer at the moment, but please contact us and we will see whether we can help now, or in the future.
