Ravinder Kaur


Board Member

Ravinder Kaur is currently the Head of Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) at Staffordshire University and has an extensive background as a housing professional working in complex, culturally rich and socio-economic challenged, geographically placed neighbourhoods across urban and rural counties. Ravinder has worked in several roles covering Operational , Project Management, Community Cohesion and currently as Head of EDI where she has helped to shape the equalities agenda and promote cohesive communities and work practices.

Ravinder is also a board member of the Coventry Refugee and Migrant Centre and for over six years has been proud to support this charity that assists over 4,000 people each year with issues around destitution, trafficking, modern slavery, unaccompanied children and those escaping conflict zones from around the world.

Academically, Ravinder is well qualified with a Masters in Community Cohesion Management, and has gained qualifications in coaching and mentoring staff, completed at the Warwick Business School Leadership Programme and has achieved the CMI Level 6 programme on Managing Organisational Culture and Leading Equality and Diversity.
