Accessibility boost for Wrekin online
We’ve made some accessibility improvements to our website making it easier for more customers and other users to use.
In our ongoing commitment to provide services and information that are available to all, we have adopted new online accessibility features.
The ReachDeck accessibility toolbar will enable our website to be as inclusive as possible. The tool bar can be accessed via the icon in the bottom right hand corner of the screen. There are several useful buttons on the tool bar, each with a different function. The website visitor can hear text read aloud, translate it to one of over 100 different languages, convert it to an MP3 and add a screen mask. The text can also be magnified, web pages can be simplified and settings can be changed to suit an individuals’ preference.

We recognise that maintaining a website is an ongoing process and there are always ways we can improve the site for the benefit of visitors. This is why we regularly monitor our site to ensure anyone can access information online, regardless of their individual needs.”
