C19 Update - Friday 3 April - Thank You

We have made no major changes to our services this week. We are continuing to make a difference to people's lives be delivering essential services:

  • Keeping customers safe in their homes
  • Maintaining excellent care provision
  • Providing necessary advice and support

I want to thank all of our excellent staff who have adapted brilliantly to taking on their work in new ways enabling us to continue to do the best for our customers. I also want to thank our customers for their understanding and patience at what is a worrying time for everyone. We appreciate that if we need to visit your home at this time it can be disruptive but please be assured we are only doing this for the right reasons in line with government advice and ultimately to keep you safe and in your property.

We are really starting to see the community come together, helping each other, sharing resources and teaming up for the greater good. I want to thank all the small businesses who have stepped in to provide assistance and to some of our local partners who are we now working with in new ways. For instance Telford College and Ercall Wood School for lending us some minibuses so we can ensure our essential care staff can get to work.

Now, more than ever, it is important to keep following government advice in order to stop the spread of Covid-19. Please continue to wash your hands often with soap and water and to ensure that you are:

  • Staying at home other than for daily exercise, food shopping and essential work
  • Protecting the NHS and care staff
  • Saving lives

These actions have been taken in line with government advice and are designed to help ensure the safety and wellbeing of our customers, service users and staff.
