C19 update - our move to more services - Friday 29 May

As restrictions on our daily lives continue to be relaxed, we are restarting more and more of our services to customers across Telford & Wrekin, Shropshire and Staffordshire.

Our teams are continuing to respond to calls for essential repairs and maintenance, deliver care and provide much needed advice and support. We are also reintroducing a number of additional services:

  • More maintenance and repairs – external repairs, like roofing and brickwork, are now being carried out. By the end of June we will be offering our routine repairs service, in line with demand.
  • Our lettings are open – for new customers, as well as those who would like to transfer to a different Wrekin property.

All our reintroduced and essential services are being delivered in line with government guidance and very much with the safety and wellbeing of our customers and staff in mind. Because of this, our offices and retail premises remain closed to the public for now and will only reopen when government guidance changes.

We’re continuing to support our customers and the wider community. We’ve been actively contacting our most vulnerable customers, but we encourage anyone who feels that they need some additional support to please get in touch.

Guidance from the government means that we are all required to stay alert and:

  • Request a test (online or by calling 119) via the NHS Track and Trace scheme if you, or your anyone in your household, develop symptoms
  • Stay at home as much as possible, leaving only for exercise, to go to work (if you cannot work from home), buy essential groceries, and access medical care
  • Limit contact with other people, and keeping your distance (2m apart)
  • Wash our hands often

Please continue to check our website and social media channels for updates and further information.
