C19 update - Thursday 7 May
As we approach the VE Day Bank holiday weekend we would like to thank all our customers for their continued support and patience.
We have shared some ideas for things to do at home this weekend to help mark the VE Day celebrations. Our teams are continuing to deliver essential services:
- Keeping you safe in your home
- Caring for older and more vulnerable people
- Providing support and advice
The government is expected to set out its plans for the next phase of social distancing and restrictions over the weekend but you are all reminded that even though it is a bank holiday weekend you should only be going out to:
- Access medical services
- For work (if you cannot work from home)
- To buy essential groceries
Please follow government guidance around social distancing:
- Stay at home
- If you do go out please stay at least 2m from each other
- Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds
If you do need to leave your home it should only be to go to work, and then only if you cannot work from home, to access medical care, purchase essential shopping and to exercise once each day.
