Care Scheme festive gifts

Here at Wrekin, we never cease to be amazed by the kindness and thoughtfulness of people.

Customers in our care schemes were surprised and delighted to receive letters and gifts during the festive season. Here are just some of the gestures:

Customers at Parkwood were touched by the gesture of Leanne Bingham and those involved in the Woodside community Facebook page, who arranged for residents to receive a small present. They were of course delivered by Santa, who popped by in the run up to the big day.

Staff and pupils at Old Park Primary School and Meadows Primary school in Ketley made decorations and wrote letters and cards to let our residents so they knew they were thinking of them at Christmas.

Customers at the Severn Walk Retirement Living Scheme were pleased and keen to say thank you to 7 Academy for their kindness in thinking of them in their “Project Santa” appeal. They organised and delivered food hampers with the help of donations from students and families. Also a big thank you to the staff and volunteers of The Hub on the Hill for delivering cooked Christmas meals and providing tenants with a bag of Christmas goodies.

You've all helped to spread some Christmas cheer to our residents - thank you everyone!
