Mr and Mrs Laight are the first Direct Debit campaign winners of the year, scooping the monthly prize of £100 in high street vouchers!
The couple, from Stirchley, have lived in their home for over 40 years since it was first built and are delighted to have won.
Mrs Laight said “We’ve lived here a long time and love our home; we have nice neighbours and I trust the Trust. We’ve been paying our rent by Direct Debit for about seven years now and it’s a convenient and easy way to pay.”
“We were really surprised when our housing executive, Debra phoned us to say that we’d won. I was shocked and asked her if she had the right address! We’d seen the article in the Trust Talks magazine and thought no more about it; we never enter anything.”
Mr Laight said he’s going to let his wife and daughter enjoy treating themselves on a girly shopping day, as they’re planning to share their £100 voucher with their daughter, Ruth and her little girl.
