Protect your belongings with home contents insurance
As landlords, Wrekin insures the structure of your home, but that cover doesn’t include your personal belongings.
Items such as furniture, tv’s, fridges and electrical equipment are expensive to buy. Home Contents Insurance offers cover and peace of mind in the event of loss due to fire, theft or flooding.
In partnership with Aviva we offer Wrekin customers home contents insurance at affordable rates and which can be paid in fortnightly or monthly instalments.
Premium options include low level cover and there is no excess to pay if you do have to make a claim. For those who pay using a payment card, the 2021 rates have been reduced on last year. Contents cover to the value of £9,000 costs £1.91 per fortnight when paying by payment card, or £2.39 with accidental damage.
You can also add optional extras to enhance your cover for personal belongings including pedal cycles, wheelchairs and mobility scooters. More detail, a breakdown of cover levels and 2021 premium rates are on our home contents insurance page.
The policy is underwritten by Aviva Insurance Limited and administered by Wessex Administration Services Limited who are authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority.
