Recruitment of Non-Executive Director - Development and Sustainability
We are a socially minded and ambitious organisation looking to grow our delivery of the very best housing and care services to our customers.
To join us on this journey we are looking for a Non-Executive Director to provide vision, insight and drive to make a difference to people’s lives. We are looking for an individual with:
- Substantial experience of development and construction as we look to grow our stock of homes to 16,000 properties by 2025.
- Knowledge of sustainability and related technologies as we prepare to deliver a zero carbon future.
Over 13,500 families and individuals make the properties that we provide at affordable rents and low cost home ownership across Telford & Wrekin, Shropshire and Staffordshire their home.
We welcome applications from people who can bring a wide range of experience and skills to the role. A background in housing and/or the care sector would be an advantage. In addition to being a member of our Group Board you will also be a member of our Finance and Investment Committee and our Development Subsidiary Board.
This is a remunerated role, with an anticipated time commitment of around two days a month.
