Making a Difference
to people's lives

This week is National Apprenticeship Week!

The tenth annual National Apprenticeship Week, co-ordinated by the National Apprenticeship Service, takes place this week.

The week is designed to celebrate apprenticeships and the positive effect that they have on businesses like ours, the wider economy and the people that undertake them.

It also gives businesses and their apprentices a chance to showcase how important they are to developing both the business and the person, and show how an apprenticeship really can take you anywhere!

Representatives from the Trust's Learning & Development team will also be at The Apprenticeship Show on Thursday 16th March at the International Centre in Telford.

During this week, we'll also be showcasing our brand new partnership with The Shrewsbury Colleges Group. David Wells, Head of Operational Services at The Wrekin Housing Trust, said: “We’re looking forward to working with the college group to expand on our current Apprenticeship scheme. This partnership is a great opportunity to help young people into work as we offer work experience, 12 month work placements and Apprenticeships, as well as volunteer opportunities.”

We'll also be posting case studies about our apprentices, past and present, on our Trust social media channels, so make sure you take a look!
