Wrekin thanks volunteer for years of support


Wrekin would like to recognise and appreciate the work of Thelma Broom, for her many years of voluntary support and hard work.

Thelma became part of the Resident Involvement Campaign back in 2013, when she joined as a Customer Assurance Panel member. Thelma went on to volunteer for a further 8 years, during this time, Thelma was appointed Vice Chair of the Customer Assurance Panel for 2 years until she took on the role of Chair for a further 3 years. Thelma also volunteered as part of the Customer Voice Panel since its conception in 2018, operating as Chair of the Panel for a year from 2019-2020.

Co-regulation co-ordinator Dave Lewis said the following: “Thelma has been imperative to the improvement of Wrekin’s services over the years. She has always put her views forward and supported other panel members whenever necessary. Thelma is thought of so highly by all and we’ll miss her greatly.”

Wrekin would like to echo these sentiments and thank Thelma for her unwavering support, we wish you all the best for the future.
