My Wrekin App - Hollie's story
Hollie Bowerman has been a Wrekin tenant since April 2022 and lives in Rugeley.
She is a full time mum with a very busy life raising two small children. Before using the My Wrekin app, the only way Hollie could pay her bills was by calling the Wrekin office during opening hours and paying over the phone.
When she moved into her current home her, a member of staff here at Wrekin told her about the benefits of the app - and helped Hollie set it up on her phone.
She says, “It was really easy to set up. I was given my username and the account was just on there”.
Hollie uses the app to pay rent and see if there’s any outstanding bills.
Hollie added: “You just go on a link that says what you owe and you can pay it through there. Everything is laid out in a column and you can see everything as it is”.
The App has other helpful features too, such as reporting and tracking repairs. You can get help with issues such as antisocial behaviour, rent arrears, view building safety information or even find your next home.
To those who may struggle using a phone, Hollie says “Everything is just there for you. It’s a good App!”
