Dan Bebbington from our Money Matters Team was joined by Matt Baker from OVO Energy to talk about the rising cost of energy bills - as well as looking at the wealth of support that's available to anyone.

We will have all noticed our bills have got more expensive in recent months, and things are not getting any easier. The new price cap came into force this month - which limits the unit price paid for electricity and gas. This means the annual bill for a typical household will be held to around £2,500 for the next two years.

Dan is Wrekin’s Debt & Energy Manager and part of our helpful Money Matters Team that supports people who are in real difficulty. Since April, they have dealt with over 600 pleas for help, and have secured and amazing £1.1m in extra income for Wrekin
