Your views matter to us and we’re always looking for people to get involved. By working in partnership with you we can make sure we offer excellent customer service.

There are lots of good reasons to get involved. Maybe there are services that you feel could be improved but you are not sure how to go about it, or maybe you feel we could do something to make your area a better place to live and work. You may simply wish to be more aware of what is going on here at Wrekin and influence what we do.. You could also learn new skills, build your confidence and make some new friends along the way.

There’s a range of different ways to get involved that can work around all the other things you have going on in your life. We are currently developing these opportunities to make it easier for all customers to get involved in some way. However, below are some of the ways you can have your say.

How can I get involved?

Task and Finish Groups: These groups scrutinise our work and look at any areas of concern raised by customers. These groups work together to improve services and ensure customer needs are met. Wrekin tenants are welcome to join any group that interests them.

Tenant led groups: We are introducing a range of other tenant-led groups that help ensure all voices can be heard. Examples of these will include the Tenants Panel, Youth Forum and ShireLiving Group.

Surveys: These are a great way for those with busy lives to have their say. Survey responses really help inform our services and show us where we need to improve. Have your say in our latest survey:

Consultations: We're keen to hear your views on any changes to our policies and procedures. You can find any current customer consultations below.

> Repair and Maintenance Policy - we've made changes and would welcome your feedback. The Customer Review is open until 29th November. Take a look at the policy here...

Events: Our team is often out at community events, meeting customers and organising litter picks to help improve our neighbourhoods. Join us at these events and share your thoughts and ideas with us.

Wrekin calendar 2024

The Wrekin Housing Group issues a calendar to customers each year. This is included with the winter edition of Your Wrekin. Last year we introduced the ‘opt in’ option for the calendar to help save waste and 14% of Wrekin customers got in touch to request one.

Wrekin is always considering how it spends its money and whether we are providing value for money for our customers. We also want to consider the environmental impact associated with printing these calendars. With this in mind, we sent a survey out to customers to ask if they would like us to print the 2024 calendar. 64% of those who responded asked us continue to print the calendar with the ‘opt in’ option.

All customers who requested a copy last year will receive one again this year. If you did not receive a calendar last year but would like a copy please get in touch. Email us at calendar@wrekin.com with your name and address before 13th November.

Over the last couple of years, we have moved the distribution of Your Wrekin on to digital channels. Any customers who have shared their email address with us now receives their copy of Your Wrekin digitally, they also receive additional updates throughout the year. This move has led to a saving on print and postage. Customers who have not shared their email address continue to receive two-printed edition copies per-year in the post.

If you would like to receive Your Wrekin digitally and receive updates get in touch with us with your email address.
